PUTRAJAYA, March 13 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today attended the Ihya Ramadan programme hosted by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW).
He arrived at the ministry at 12.05 pm and was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and Deputy Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang.
Also present were Chief Secretary to the Govenment Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar and KKDW secretary-general Datuk Muhd Khair Razman Mohamed Annuar.
The programme began with a meeting between the Prime Minister and the top management of KKDW, discussing matters related to the ministry’s key results areas.
Anwar then proceeded to attend a religious talk by Ustaz Asri Hassan from MARA titled ‘Ramadan Yang Sempurna’ before joining the KKDW staff for the Zuhur prayers.
The Ihya Ramadan programme served as a platform for the Prime Minister to engage with the KKDW staff while embracing the spiritual essence of Ramadan through knowledge-sharing sessions.
