Thailand Showcases Growth Of Halal And Organic Food At THAIFEX-ANUGA ASIA 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (Bernama) -- The Halal and Organic Showcases at THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA 2025, organised last week by Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, highlighted efforts to expand the global reach of the country’s halal and organic food exports.

THAIFEX–Anuga Asia, in a statement, said the showcase held from May 27 to 31 was organised in response to rising global demand for halal and organic food, forming part of the agency’s strategic initiative to strengthen the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs in these sectors.

“By supporting Thai entrepreneurs in the halal and organic sectors, we are not only responding to global consumer trends but also opening new trade opportunities that will strengthen Thailand’s position in the international market,” it said.

The Halal Showcase featured high-quality halal food products certified by both domestic and international bodies, while the Organic Showcase highlighted food products made from certified organic ingredients, approved by reputable accreditation bodies.

“The Halal Showcase includes processed foods, snacks, beverages and natural cooking ingredients, reflecting exceptional quality, authentic taste and production processes that strictly adhere to Islamic principles.

“Meanwhile, the Organic Showcase featured a wide range of food and beverage items as well as premium-quality cooking ingredients,” it added.

The initiative also aims to stimulate economic growth while enhancing the credibility and global image of Thai products in the eyes of importers and buyers worldwide.
