Pintas Utama Donates 20 Laptops To Support Asnaf Students' Education

KUANTAN, Sept 27 (Bernama) -- Pintas Utama today contributed 20 laptops worth RM50,000 to asnaf families under the Laptop Presentation Programme organised by the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Keluarga Istimewa (PPKI) Pahang.

In a statement, Pintas Utama said the contribution was aimed at supporting asnaf students who are currently, or will soon be, pursuing their studies at institutions of higher learning (IPT), as part of efforts to enhance access to digital education and promote academic excellence.

The programme, held at the Indera Mahkota MADANI Community Centre, was officiated by the Prime Minister's political secretary Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi.

Pintas Utama chief executive officer Datuk Ir Marhalim Mohamed said the contribution was a modest effort by the company to empower the younger generation, who will one day serve as the backbone of the country’s economic development.

“We believe that education is the key to a better future,” he said in the same statement.

Marhalim said Pintas Utama is not only focused on slope and infrastructure repair works but is also committed to improving the living standards of the needy through its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

The company is also actively carrying out slope repair projects across Pahang while making preparations to mitigate potential landslide risks during the monsoon season.

“This effort is crucial to ensure the safety of road users and to guarantee the smooth operation of the state’s infrastructure network.

“Pintas Utama not only plays a leading role in the construction sector but also serves as a strategic partner in social development, education and community well-being nationwide,” the statement added.
