AIA Malaysia Partners With Big Caring Group To Expand Digital Health Access

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- AIA Malaysia today announced a strategic partnership with BIG CARiNG Group, welcoming one of the country’s leading pharmacy chains into its expanding network of healthcare collaborators.

AIA Malaysia, in a statement, said that BIG CARiNG Group brings together a network of trusted community pharmacies, including BIG Pharmacy, CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Ting Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy.

It said the collaboration introduces a full suite of digital health services exclusively on the AIA+ mobile application, thus enhancing healthcare accessibility and convenience for its customers.

“Through the partnership, AIA offers customers a seamless way to manage their health needs from anywhere, at any time, via the AIA+ mobile application,” it said.

Customers can connect with licensed and certified doctors for 24/7 tele-consultations, receive instant digital prescriptions and specialist referrals, and arrange for free nationwide medication delivery, including same-day delivery within Peninsular Malaysia, delivery within three business days to East Malaysia or the option for self-pickup at selected BIG CARiNG Group stores nationwide.

AIA Malaysia Chief Corporate Solutions and Healthcare Officer Tung Hsiao Ley said the partnership places quality healthcare directly into the hands of customers.

“By bringing BIG CARiNG Group into our circle of trusted partners and combining AIA’s commitment to accessible, affordable and effective healthcare with the group’s trusted nationwide network, we’re removing barriers to timely treatment and empowering Malaysians to take charge of their health.

“This is a meaningful step forward in our mission to help people live healthier, longer, better lives,” she said in the same statement.

Meanwhile, BIG CARiNG Group Chief Executive Officer Lee Meng Chuan said the partnership brings digital healthcare closer to Malaysians with their extensive nationwide network, thus allowing them to deliver timely care and trusted services to communities.

“By integrating our pharmacy services into the AIA+ mobile application, we’re making healthcare more convenient and accessible by enabling customers to receive timely medications, expert consultations and trusted care right from their phones - whether they are in the heart of a city or a smaller town,” he added.

AIA Malaysia said the digital health services are available to all its customers and can be accessed securely and easily through the AIA+ mobile application.

“To mark the launch of the partnership, exclusive deals are being offered at over 600 BIG CARiNG Group pharmacy stores, available exclusively to AIA+ mobile application users, who can enjoy a range of special discounts and offers,” the statement read.
