KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) has further strengthened its reputation as one of Malaysia’s leading developers, winning seven prestigious awards at the PropertyGuru Asia Awards Malaysia with iProperty 2025.
In a statement today, PKNS said that its Galeria SA Sentral project clinched two major awards - Best of Malaysia: Design Category and Best Sales Gallery Design.
Meanwhile, Residensi Aludra was named Best Townhouse Development, while Linkar 52 won the Best Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) award.
PKNS also received the People’s Choice Award – Top 10 Developers, based on public votes, as well as two ESG awards - Low Carbon Champion and Sustainable Design Champion.
“These recognitions reflect PKNS’ commitment to advancing resilient, low-carbon, and sustainability-oriented developments, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action),” it said.
It added that these achievements also highlight PKNS’ strategic approach, in integrating green and sustainable principles into every stage of its project planning, design, and implementation.
“PKNS believes that high-quality landscape and architecture can enhance community well-being, and contribute positively to sustainability efforts, particularly in preserving and enriching urban biodiversity.
According to PKNS, each recognition serves as a testament to its ongoing efforts to build sustainable communities, in line with its mission to create a vibrant and sustainable living environment through continuous innovation, service excellence beyond expectations, and the development of a committed and competent workforce.
On the recognition received by Residensi Aludra in Cyber Valley, PKNS said it reflects the project’s excellence in modern and luxurious design, complemented by comprehensive facilities that cater to contemporary lifestyles.
As for Linkar 52, its success demonstrates PKNS’ capability in developing top-tier serviced apartments at a strategic location in Shah Alam, combining elements of a modern commercial hub with surrounding infrastructure, and easy access to various amenities and facilities, making it an ideal choice for buyers.
This year’s success marks PKNS’ third consecutive recognition at the prestigious award since its participation in 2023, further reinforcing its position in Malaysia’s property development industry.
Last year, PKNS won two awards through its Ixora project in Antara Gapi, and the People’s Choice Award based on public votes.
