Kuala Lumpur Park Festival 2025 Ready To Welcome Visitors This Friday

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 (Bernama) -- Preparations for the Kuala Lumpur Park Festival 2025 (KLPF) at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa here are progressing smoothly, ready to welcome visitors from Oct 17 to 26.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) landscape architect Muhammad Aiman Abdul Hakim said this year’s festival was rather special as the capital city would be in the global spotlight in conjunction with the ASEAN Summit 2025.

Targeting a turnout of 250,000 visitors over the 10-day event, the festival features 12 components, namely the Malaysian Heritage Garden, KL Balcony Competition, Nature Sculpture Art, Mystical Titiwangsa, Residential Garden, Rhythm of Life, ASEAN Market Place Bazaar, ASEAN Sculpture Garden, Adventure and Exploration Activities, Youth Expressions, Community Garden and Nature Inspirations.

“The festival will be open to the public this Friday, and admission is free.

“Free parking will be available around the lake park, and we are also providing shuttle services to take visitors to the event site,” he told reporters after the KLPF 2025 media tour and briefing here today.

Earlier, Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Dr Maimunah Mohd Sharif was reported as saying that this year’s KLPF highlighted the theme ‘ASEAN: Unity in Diversity’ with four pillars — Sustainable Living, Cultural Expression, Community Participation and Nature-Based Innovation.

Open from 9 am to 11 pm, Maimunah said among the main attractions would be the ASEAN Marketplace bazaar, featuring over 100 stalls offering halal food, plants, arts and crafts.

In addition, outdoor activities such as glamping, water sports, e-sports and traditional games, as well as knowledge-sharing sessions with renowned local and international experts, will also be held to diversify the visitor experience.
