“The Internet readiness (for coverage of this ASEAN Summit) is expected to be far better, and we hope our media colleagues will be able to deliver their reports smoothly,” he said.

Meanwhile, Fahmi said Bernama TV will air live coverage in multiple languages throughout the summit until Oct 28, while RTM will broadcast ‘Grandstand ASEAN’ live starting this Friday.

The 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, themed Inclusivity and Sustainability, is scheduled to be held from Oct 26 to 28, with participation from top leaders of the 10 ASEAN member states and key dialogue partners, including the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and India.
