Measures to address the issue of Area Fishermen’s Associations (PNK), which have been ineffective in safeguarding the welfare of their members despite being officially registered and collecting annual membership fees, will also be discussed today, with Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (MUDA–Muar) set to raise the matter.

For the Questions for Oral Answers session, Syahredzan Johan (PH–Bangi) will ask the Communications Minister to state the government’s stance on the Court of Appeal’s ruling that the terms “annoy” and “offensive” under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act constitute unconstitutional restrictions, as well as the government’s initiatives to harmonise Section 233 with the court’s decision.

The Dewan Rakyat will continue with the final day of debates on the Supply Bill (Budget) 2026, followed by the winding-up session at the policy stage.
