KANGAR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- The Perlis government is committed to strengthening the culture of research and innovation as an effort to produce competitive human capital and make local creations a catalyst for the state's economic growth.

Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli said the organisation of the Idea Bestari 2025 programme, which gathered over 100 innovator groups from various research institutions and the local community, is proof that the state is prepared to build an exclusive and sustainable innovation ecosystem.

"I sincerely hope that the innovation results showcased in this programme will not only remain academic products but will also be commercialised.
