ALOR SETAR, Nov 8 (Bernama) -- The number of flood victims in Kedah has increased slightly today, following the evacuation of 17 people from six families from the Kuala Muda district, compared to 10 victims yesterday.
According to the Kedah Disaster Management Committee (JPBN), all the flood victims are accommodated at the Kampung Bukit Belah Community Hall, which opened at noon yesterday.
Meanwhile, according to the official Public Infobanjir website, Sungai Titi Kerbau near Pendang has exceeded the warning level of 4.62 metres (m), while Sungai Laka near Kubang Pasu has exceeded the warning level (21.55m).
