IPOH, Nov 11 (Bernama) -- The Perak government has launched SUK Perak, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, on three of its busiest portals to enhance the speed and efficiency of government services.
State Communications, Multimedia and Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Committee chairman Mohd Azlan Helmi said the chatbot will initially be available on the ePenghulu portal, the state higher education loan system, and the Perak Museum Board’s official portal.
“The chatbot will allow citizens to access information faster, more accurately and in a user-friendly way, while helping public servants boost productivity through streamlined services,” he told reporters after officiating the ICT Day: AI for All — Catalyst for Perak Sejahtera 2030 programme here today.
Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Management) Datuk Nor Sham Rahman and Perak Digital chief executive officer Mohamad Suhaimi Mohamad Tahir.
Azlan added that SUK Perak will be gradually rolled out across all state departments and agencies, with ongoing training for officials and technical staff to strengthen their understanding and skills in AI technology.
“This initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to positioning AI as a key driver in achieving the Perak Sejahtera 2030 vision, building a competitive society ready for the digital future,” he said.
