PUTRAJAYA, Nov 24 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the Road Transport Department (JPJ) remain committed to strengthening their strategic cooperation, particularly in efforts to prevent corruption.
This commitment was reaffirmed during a courtesy call by JPJ Director-General Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli on MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki at the MACC Headquarters today, during which they discussed enhancing collaborative efforts between the two agencies.
In a statement, MACC said the meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, with an emphasis on strengthening working relationships and aligning joint initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of task execution.
“The success of various initiatives under JPJ operations and programmes proves that JPJ and MACC consistently work together, especially in efforts to prevent corruption among its personnel,” read the statement.
Also present were MACC Senior Director of Intelligence Division Datuk Saiful Ezral Arifin and JPJ Senior Director of Enforcement Datuk Muhammad Kifli Ma Hassan.
