PUTRAJAYA, Dec 7 (Bernama) -- The Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme received an overwhelming response, recording 304,107 visitors in the first two days of its three-day run and surpassing the initial target of 300,000 attendees.
Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said that today’s good weather, coinciding with the final day of the programme, also encouraged more people to attend from early morning to participate in the various activities offered.
“Alhamdulillah, the weather looks good. At first, we were a bit worried… holding the event outdoors during the monsoon season could have affected attendance. But so far, at least for the final day, the third day, the weather has been quite favourable.
“I saw many people turning up this morning, and various activities are being held. So, I expect today’s attendance to be strong,” he told Bernama on the sidelines of the Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme and the 2025 National Convention on Public Service Reform, which began last Friday and concludes today.
Fahmi said that the programme was also significant as it coincides with the third anniversary of the MADANI Government’s administration, in addition to serving as the government’s annual platform for delivering direct reports to the people.
“We are all looking forward to the speech that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will deliver shortly. This also marks the celebration of three years of the MADANI Government, making it especially meaningful. But more importantly, our focus is on the efforts that lie ahead,” he said.
The Rancakkan MADANI programme continues the MADANI Government’s tradition of annual public reporting, following the ‘One Year with the MADANI Government’ and ‘Two Years with the MADANI Government’ events held in 2023 and 2024.
Held concurrently is the 2025 National Convention on Public Service Reform, which brings together policy thinkers from the civil service and industry players.
Organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU), the programme attracted 304,107 visitors over its first two days, and the number is expected to continue rising on the final day of the event today.
