KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 (Bernama) -- The retail prices of RON97 petrol and non-subsidised RON95 nationwide will increase by two sen each to RM3.10 and RM2.54 per litre respectively for the period from Jan 22 to 28, 2026.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) said in a statement today that the price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will also be raised by four sen to RM2.88 per litre for the same period, while prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The retail price of subsidised RON95 petrol under the BUDI MADANI (BUDI95) scheme remains at RM1.99 per litre.
“The government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people continue to be safeguarded,” the statement said.
