MADANI Rahmah Sale Programme Expanded To 222 Parliamentary Constituencies Since Jan 9

22/01/2026 10:15 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22 (Bernama) -- The MADANI Rahmah Sale Programme (PJRM) has been expanded nationwide from Jan 9, in line with the MADANI government's commitment to addressing the people's cost-of-living issue.

Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the programme will be implemented in all 222 parliamentary constituencies, 600 state constituencies and 40 zones in the Federal Territories.

"Those who wish to get further information on the programme’s dates and locations nearby can refer to the PJRM Calendar, which will be updated from time to time, via the ministry's official website at https://www.kpdn.gov.my/en/jualan-rahmah,” he posted on Facebook today.

Armizan said that today, he spent time observing the implementation of the PJRM at Anjung Seri, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), Putrajaya, which is held every month on payday.

He added that the programme received an encouraging response not only from civil servants but also from residents nearby.

Armizan said the PJRM was also significant as it was held in the same month as the implementation of the second phase of the new pay rise for civil servants under the Public Service Remuneration System (SSPA), with the first phase held in December 2024.

"With the implementation of Phase Two, civil servants can now enjoy a 15 per cent overall pay rise as promised by the government,” he said.

He stressed that initiatives like the PJRM and civil servant salary adjustment reflected the MADANI Government's two-pronged approach to tackling the rising cost of living, by ensuring the stability of the prices of goods and services, and increasing people's incomes in a sustainable manner.

"The MADANI Government implements numerous policies and programmes to create an ecosystem that stimulates increased income for the people, including job opportunities, increasing the minimum wage, implementing a progressive wage policy, empowering entrepreneurship, distributing targeted cash assistance, as well as various other initiatives that are based on the well-being and prosperity of the people,” he said.
