JPKK Must Practice High Integrity In All Administrative Matters - Aminuddin

SEREMBAN, Feb 10 (Bernama) -- The leadership of the Village Development and Security Committees (JPKK) in Negeri Sembilan have been reminded to practice high integrity in all administrative matters, leaving no room for abuse of power, favouritism, or personal interest.

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said that JPKK Chairmen, Secretaries, and Treasurers must ensure that the distribution of aid, implementation of programmes, and financial management are carried out transparently, fairly, and in accordance with regulations.

“Should any misappropriation, abuse of power, or breach of integrity occur, I will not hesitate to request the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to take stern action, regardless of rank or position. This is the state government's standing.

“The people’s trust is our most valuable asset; it can only be preserved through administration that is clean, transparent, and fair,” he said at the Menteri Besar’s Mandate Ceremony with the 2025-2027 Negeri Sembilan JPKK Leadership here today.

Aminuddin added that the state government will not compromise with individuals found involved in integrity issues, emphasising that every action must adhere to the principles of accountability for the benefit of the people.

In the meantime, he announced that an allocation of over RM500,000 has been provided as financial contributions for JPKK leadership in conjunction with the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

He noted that a total of 1,320 recipients from 440 villages across the state will receive incentives, consisting of RM500 for JPKK Chairmen, RM300 for Secretaries, and RM200 for Treasurers.

"I hope this contribution will add more joy to the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations for the beneficiaries," he said.
