KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit seven states and the Federal Territory of Labuan until 1 am today.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said the weather conditions were forecast to affect Kedah (Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Padang Terap, Pendang and Sik), Pahang (Jerantut, Maran and Bera) as well as Negeri Sembilan (Kuala Pilah, Rembau, Jempol and Tampin).
The warning also involves Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Bahru) and Melaka.
In Sarawak, the affected areas are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.
Meanwhile, in Sabah, the areas expected to be affected are the Interior (Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, Nabawan and Keningau) and the West Coast (Papar).
