KUANTAN, March 4 (Bernama) -- About 8,000 Pahang civil servants will receive RM1,000 each as a special financial assistance in conjunction with Aidilfitri this year.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said that the assistance is aimed at helping civil servants make preparations for the upcoming festive celebration.
“This special assistance will be credited into the recipients’ accounts a week before Aidilfitri,” he said in a statement today.
He added that the state government hopes the payment will boost the morale of the state’s civil service to continue delivering excellent service, while strengthening efforts to develop the state and enhance the well-being of the people.
