KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) -- Traffic on the main highways heading towards the Klang Valley is currently flowing smoothly and remains under control this morning.
A Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesperson said traffic is expected to increase from noon until late evening as people return home after the Aidilfitri holidays.
"PLUS has activated the Smart Lane at 34 locations, from 9 am to 10 pm today to help ensure smoother traffic flow," he told Bernama.
Highway users are encouraged to plan their journey based on the travel time recommendations provided by the concessionaires and to ensure they are well-rested before starting their drive.
The public can access real-time traffic updates through the LLM toll-free hotline at 1-800-88-7752 or view live traffic footage on the agency's official website.
