KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) -- The Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, today granted an audience to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Johor Bahru.
Anwar, in a Facebook post, said that during the meeting, he and Tunku Mahkota Ismail, exchanged views on issues concerning the interests of the nation and the state of Johor, as well as the government’s efforts and measures in addressing the current global crisis.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to His Royal Highness the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, for granting me an audience during my short visit to Johor today.
“The government will continue to work to ensure that the people are protected, and that the country remains peaceful and stable, Insya-Allah,” he said.
