YSIJ Contributes 2,000 Sets of Tables and Chairs For Religious Schools In Johor

JOHOR BAHRU, April 24 (Bernama) -- Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ) continues to strengthen its commitment to upholding Islamic educational infrastructure in the state, targeting the distribution of 2,000 sets of chairs and tables, to selected schools across Johor.

According to a post on the Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar Facebook page, the contributions - made through the Johor State Government Religious Schools Initiative for 2026 - were presented by YSIJ Chief Executive Officer Mohd Anizam Jamian and the Chairman of the Johor Islamic Religious Affairs Committee, Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid.

Also in attendance were Deputy Director of Operations Yosree Ikhsan and Deputy Director of Religious Education at the Islamic Education Division of the Johor State Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ), Mohd Radhi Ruslan.

The post noted that Sekolah Agama Peserai in Batu Pahat was chosen as the symbolic location for the handover of 190 sets of chairs and tables that were allocated for distribution among three schools: namely Sekolah Agama Peserai, Sekolah Agama Seri Beroleh, and Sekolah Agama Parit Kemang.

Meanwhile, Mohd Fared expressed his appreciation for the close synergy between YSIJ and the state government in reinforcing religious education facilities in Johor.

"This contribution is a testament to the concern of YSIJ, which always places the welfare of Johor's children as a priority. We want to see every student in religious schools able to seek knowledge in a fully equipped and conducive environment," he said.
