The two prime ministers met on the sidelines of the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings, which concluded today.

The close relationship not only continues the long-established legacy of friendship, but also serves as an important foundation for fostering a more peaceful, prosperous, and resilient future for the region, he added.

During the meeting, Anwar said they also expressed a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, including accelerating the target of achieving USD30 billion in trade by 2027 and expanding cross-border connectivity for the benefit of the people of both countries.
