KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning on thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds affecting several states in Peninsular Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur until 4 pm today.
In a statement, MetMalaysia said the adverse weather conditions are expected to affect Perlis, Kedah and Penang.
Also affected are Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu), Selangor (Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling and Hulu Langat) as well as Johor (Segamat, Kluang, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru).
In addition, Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub and Bentong), Perak (Kerian, Larut Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang and Muallim) and Kelantan (Tumpat, Pasir Mas and Tanah Merah) are also involved.
