KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 (Bernama) -- From AI-powered diagnostics to preventive and lifestyle-driven care, the future of healthcare is evolving rapidly, positioning Health Summit Asia (HSA) 2026 a key regional platform for professionals to explore innovation, gain industry insights and connect with leaders shaping the next era of healthcare and wellbeing.
Taking place from May 20 to 22 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the summit will bring together healthcare providers, wellness practitioners, policymakers, and innovators from across Asia.
Organised by Qube Integrated Malaysia, with Green Wellness Malaysia as joint organiser, the event combines SEACare, Malaysia’s premier B2B healthcare platform and the International Wellness Expo (IWE) under one umbrella.
In a statement, Qube said the expansion reflects a regional shift towards preventive care, holistic wellbeing, and lifestyle medicine, alongside the rapid adoption of AI and digital health solutions globally.
“Deloitte’s 2025 Global Health Care Outlook highlights how digital tools are transforming diagnostics and patient engagement.
“In Asia, the urgency is greater. Mercer’s Health Trends 2026 report projects medical inflation at 12.5 per cent across the region, with Malaysia recording 15 per cent and most other markets also seeing double-digit increases,” according to the statement.
Qube said rising healthcare costs are prompting providers and employers to rethink care models, while AI and digital health technologies are offering new ways to improve efficiency, precision, and outcomes.
“In fact, Asia’s healthcare AI market is projected to grow rapidly, driven by telemedicine, diagnostics, and predictive analytics. At the same time, wellness is no longer an adjunct to healthcare, it is becoming increasingly integrated with it.
“HSA 2026 is more than a technology showcase, it reflects the convergence of healthcare and wellness into a single ecosystem,” the statement said.
According to the statement, HSA 2026 will feature HRP Corp claimable conferences offering 20 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points from the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and 20 CPD points from Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS).
Participants will also be able to explore exhibitions featuring medical devices, wearable diagnostics, digital health platforms, and wellness innovations, while business matching sessions will connect industry players, brands and practitioners across the region.
Qube said the summit aims to elevate local innovation while attracting global participation, positioning Southeast Asia as an emerging hub for integratd healthcare and wellness solutions.
