MTD Group, MTD Properties Strengthen Community Ties With Aidiladha Contribution

SEREMBAN, May 27 (Bernama) -- MTD Group (MTD Capital Berhad), together with its property subsidiary, MTD Properties, donated two cows to Masjid Dato’ Klana Petra Lela Mohd Yusof in Sikamat in conjunction with this year’s Aidiladha celebration. 

MTD Group chief executive officer Reime Rizal Abdul Aziz said Negeri Sembilan was chosen for this year’s Aidiladha contribution programme as a symbolic prelude to the upcoming launch of MTD Properties’ development project in Ampangan. 

“The Aidiladha contribution is an annual initiative by MTD Group. Previously, MTD Properties has carried out similar programmes at each of our developments, such as in Ayer Keroh, Melaka and Taman Sutera, Kajang, Selangor. This is the first time Negeri Sembilan has been selected, symbolising the entry of MTD Properties’ development in this state. 

“Alhamdulillah, this year we are donating two cows to be shared with the community in Sikamat. We hope this contribution brings blessings and benefits to all recipients, while also strengthening community ties,” he told Bernama here today. 

The mock cheque was handed over to the mosque chairman, Ustaz Muhammad Ainur Robanni Nasoha.

He said the initiative also marks the beginning of MTD Properties’ long-term community engagement efforts through the development of an industrial and commercial project on a 23.06-hectare site. 

The development, known as the ‘MTD Ampangan Industrial Hub’, is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year and carried out in four phases, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM410 million.

According to Reime Rizal, the development is expected to create job opportunities and contribute to local economic growth, particularly in Ampangan, which is located within a key economic growth zone. 

He added that the development of the industrial hub is in line with the aspirations of the Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0) corridor.
