KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 (Bernama) -- Great Eastern Takaful Berhad (GETB) brought its #BuktiCintaAbadi campaign to life through an exclusive Gold Activation Event in collaboration with renowned jeweller HABIB, offering a distinctive experience that bridges financial protection with the enduring value of gold.
GETB said the two-day event, held from June 6 to 7 at HABIB’s landmark outlet on Jalan Bunus, here, showcased how financial planning can serve as a meaningful expression of love, care and long-term legacy. The event welcomed about 100 invited guests, including takaful advisors, customers and selected prospects.
Themed #BuktiCintaAbadi (Proof of Eternal Love), the campaign moves beyond conventional engagement methods, reflecting GETB’s commitment to customer-centric innovation and its efforts to help Malaysians better understand the importance of financial protection through tangible, real-world visualisation.
“At the centre of the activation was a striking showcase that translated financial figures into physical form, allowing guests to visualise RM500,000 through an equivalent display of jewellery alongside a 1-kilogramme gold bar, making abstract financial concepts more relatable, memorable and emotionally resonant.
“To further enhance engagement, guests also experienced an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered photobooth that generated personalised images of themselves adorned with gold jewellery, offering a creative way to envision the sense of confidence and security associated with being financially protected,” it said in a statement.
GETB Appointed Representative Jasveen Marne said the campaign was designed to bridge the gap between awareness and understanding of financial protection.
"#BuktiCintaAbadi is grounded in a simple reality. Many Malaysians understand the importance of financial protection, but often struggle to relate it to real, everyday value.
"Our collaboration with HABIB was designed to close that gap by making financial outcomes more tangible and easier to appreciate. Through the RM500,000 gold showcase, we helped customers better understand what they are working towards and why it matters," she said in the same statement.
She added that beyond awareness, the initiative focused on encouraging action through personalised advisory engagements to support individuals into taking practical steps to strengthen their protection and plan more intentionally for their families’ future.
"Ultimately, #BuktiCintaAbadi is about turning good intentions into concrete plans, backed by real financial security," she said.
The campaign, which runs from May 9 to June 22 this year, is supported by a suite of takaful solutions including i-Great Evo, i-Great Nova, i-Great Chinta, i-Great Yaqeen and i-Great Mega Plus, catering to individuals and families across different life stages and protection needs. Eligible customers may also receive exclusive gold pendant rewards from HABIB, subject to terms and conditions.
