In his speech, Tengku Zafrul said the foundation's programmes were designed not only to address immediate needs but also to empower individuals and communities to build a better future.

“Whether through educational support programmes, sustainability initiatives, community outreach efforts or festive celebrations with underserved communities, our commitment remains steadfast in uplifting lives, strengthening communities and contributing towards a more inclusive, compassionate and resilient Malaysia,” he said.

Tengku Zafrul said that, in line with its commitment to empowering future generations through education, one of YTZA's flagship initiatives is ACE SPM, which was introduced to strengthen academic preparedness among Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates, particularly students from B40 communities.

In 2025, he said, the programme benefited 467 students across 10 schools in Selangor, while its digital initiatives reached more than 4,000 students.

“These encouraging outcomes have strengthened our resolve to expand the programme and reach even more students in the years ahead,” he said.

Tengku Zafrul expressed his deep appreciation to all sponsors, donors, strategic partners, volunteers and supporters who have played an instrumental role in enabling YTZA to fulfil its mission and extend its reach to those who need it most.

During the event, His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin witnessed the presentation of a mock cheque for RM1 million from Kuok Brothers Sdn Bhd and RM300,000 from YTL Power International Berhad.

YTZA also launched Larian KITA@Klang, which will be held on Oct 10 in conjunction with the Sultan of Selangor’s Silver Jubilee celebration this year.

This is the foundation’s fourth run in the Larian KITA series, which is a community fun run that celebrates inclusivity, community spirit, and the chosen route’s cultural and culinary attractions.
