KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives settled lower today.
Spot month June 2024 slid 4.0 points to 1,608.5, July 2024 and September 2024 trimmed 3.5 points to 1,613.5 and 1,599.0 respectively, while December 2024 slipped 1.5 points to 1,605.0.
Turnover, however, more than doubled to 7,847 lots from 3,714 lots on Thursday, while open interest rose to 50,046 contracts from 46,380 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI shed by 2.85 points to 1,607.32 from 1,610.17 at Thursday’s close.
