KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.
The spot month July 2024, August 2024 and December 2024 contracts added 11.5 points each to 1,633.5, 1,637.0 and 1,628.0, respectively, and September 2024 surged 12.5 points to 1,621.0.
Turnover dropped to 9,754 lots from 13,121 lots, while open interest slid to 57,979 contracts from 59,117 contracts yesterday.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 7.61 points, or 0.47 per cent, to 1,629.68 from Monday's close of 1,622.07.
