KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded stronger this morning, tracking the underlying cash market.
At 9.19 am, the August 2024 spot month contract rose 9.0 points to 1,591.5, September 2024 and March 2025 contracts gained 8.5 points to 1,574.0 and 1,567.5, respectively, the December 2024 contract increased 15.5 points to 1,586.0.
Turnover amounted to 2,318 lots, while open interest stood at 42,730 contracts.
At 9.39 am, the FBM KLCI recovered by 10.09 points to 1,600.47 from Thursday’s close of 1,590.38
