KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 20 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, mirroring the decline in the cash market.
The August 2024 and December 2024 contracts slid 3.5 points each to 1,651.5 and 1,636.0, respectively, while September 2024 fell 2.5 points to 1,631.0 and March 2025 dipped 3.0 points to 1,623.0.
Turnover eased to 13,525 lots from 14,659 on Monday, while open interest grew to 55,328 contracts from 54,407 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI was 0.36 per cent, or 5.93 points, lower at 1,642.77 compared with yesterday’s close of 1,648.70.
