KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the positive momentum of the underlying cash market.
August 2024 and September 2024 increased 7.0 points each to 1,654.0 and 1,634.0, respectively, while December 2024 and March 2025 bagged 6.5 points each to 1,639.5 and 1,626.0, respectively.
Turnover surged to 50,741 lots from 26,074 on Monday, while open interest jumped to 97,775 contracts from 69,308 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 13.33 points to 1,652.29 from Monday's close of 1,638.96.
