KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly higher today, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.
At the close, spot-month August 2025 perked up 0.5 of-a-point to 1,594.0, December 2025 added 3.0 points to 1,572.0, March 2026 was 4.5 points higher at 1,558.0, and September 2025 was flat at 1,572.0.
Turnover rose to 6,421 lots from 5,839 lots on Wednesday, while open interest increased to 45,312 contracts from 44,596 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.66 points, or 0.29 per cent, to settle at 1,592.87 from Wednesday’s close of 1,588.21.
