KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Tuesday, tracking the underlying cash market.
At the close, the January 2026 and March 2026 contracts declined 9.5 points each to 1,674.0 and 1,659.0, respectively, while February 2026 contracted 10.5 points to 1,677.05, and June 2026 fell 6.5 points to 1,664.0.
Turnover fell to 6,899 lots from 7,904 lots on Monday, while open interest declined to 40,130 contracts from 40,750 contracts yesterday.
At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) declined 7.97 points to 1,672.35 from Monday’s close of 1,680.32.
