KUALA LUMPUR, May 4 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Monday, tracking gains in the cash market.
At 9.30 am, the new spot month of May 2026 contract gained 9.0 points to 1,728.5. June 2026 and December 2026 increased 10.50 points each to 1,729.0 and 1,711.50, while September 2026 rose 11.50 points to 1,712.50.
Turnover stood at 2,059 lots, while open interest totalled 33,289 contracts.
After 50 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI was up 6.32 points at 1,728.34, compared with Thursday’s close of 1,722.02.
