KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Bernama) – Sunway Construction Group Bhd’s subsidiary, Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a contract worth RM781.3 million from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for the construction and completion of the latter’s campus in Jalan Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the project was expected to be completed within 26 months from the date of commencement of the project which would be determined by the parties.
“The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the company from the financial year ending Dec, 31 2019 onwards,” it said.
Sunway Construction Group said this project would increase its outstanding order book to RM6 billion.
