First batch of pilgrims performs Tawaf amid integrated system of services, precautionary measures

MAKKAH, July 19 -- The first batch of pilgrims has completed performing Tawaf Al-Qudum (Tawaf of Arrival) with ease and comfort amid an integrated system of services and precautionary measure, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The General Presidency of Two Holy Mosques Affairs’ Spokesperson Hani Haidar stated that the presidency allocated tracks for pilgrims around the Tawaf (circumambulation) area to perform the Tawaf. As many as 60 employees have taken part in organising the movement of pilgrims to maintain social distancing.

In light of the unremitting support by the government of Saudi Arabia, he reiterated the general presidency's keenness to achieve a system of distinguished and high-quality services in order to provide pilgrims with an ideal and appropriate healthy environment to perform hajj rituals.
