LABUAN FSA WINS GOLD AS EMPLOYER OF CHOICE IN PUBLIC SECTOR CATEGORY AT MALAYSIA HR AWARDS 2024

LABUAN, Dec 9 (Bernama) -- The Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) was named the "Gold Award Winner" in the Employer of Choice Award (Public Sector) category at the 24th Malaysia International HR Awards 2024 on Dec 6.

In a statement today, Labuan FSA said the accolade, presented by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resources Management (MIHRM), is a significant milestone and testifies to Labuan FSA’s exceptional human capital strategies in fostering an innovative, sustainable, and inclusive workplace.

Labuan FSA’s Director-General Nik Mohamed Din Nik Musa, who received the award, said it underscores Labuan FSA’s commitment to promoting a sound, dynamic, and sustainable international business and financial centre, with a strong focus on talent development, governance, and innovation.

The awards ceremony was attended by industry leaders from the public and private sectors at a leading hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

The event celebrated excellence in human resource management and organisational culture.

Nik Mohamed Din said Labuan FSA has distinguished itself through its innovative HR initiatives, including efforts in digital transformation, comprehensive employee benefits, and the promotion of work-life balance.

These strategies have enhanced the organisation’s governance, optimised workforce performance, and set a benchmark for excellence in the public sector, he said.
