KOTA BHARU, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- The Kelantan government has set rental rates for Ramadan bazaar sites in the state, starting from RM200, depending on the respective district.
State Youth, Sports, Non-Governmental Organisations and Community Unity Committee chairman Zamakhshari Muhamad said for the Kuala Krai District Council, the rental is RM500, Pasir Puteh District Council in Selising (RM450) and Bandar Pasir Puteh (RM550), Machang District Council (RM400), and Pasir Mas District Council (RM350).
“Meanwhile, Tanah Merah District Council charges between RM350 and RM450, Ketereh District Council (RM300), Bachok District Council (RM300), Gua Musang District Council (RM250), Tumpat District Council (RM250), Jeli and Dabong District Councils (RM200 each).
“In Kota Bharu, the state government has designated five Ramadan bazaars: Padang Tembak (RM370), Kubang Kerian night market (RM580), Taman Bendahara night market (RM400), Tok Kenali Binjai (RM570), and Pasir Tumboh night market (RM570),” he said when contacted today.
