GAZA, June 25 (Bernama-QNA) -- At least 12 Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Wednesday as Israeli forces intensified their bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip, including eastern and western Gaza City and the town of Bani Suheila in eastern Khan Younis.
Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that an entire family, comprising a father, mother, and five of their children, were martyred in an air strike targeting the Al-Shawa area in the Shujaiya neighbourhood of Gaza City. Several others were wounded in the same attack.
Five other civilians, including a child, were martyred in a separate Israeli strike targeting a group of people near the College of Training in western Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, a Palestinian was martyred following an Israeli air strike on Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.
Medical sources confirmed that 31 Palestinians, including children, have been martyred since early Wednesday in air raids across the besieged Strip, with dozens more wounded.
The death toll in Gaza has risen to 56,077, with 131,848 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Oct. 7, 2023.
