5.4-magnitude Quake Hits 35 Km Ene Of Shwebo, Myanmar -- USGS

HONG KONG, July 18 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 35 kilometres ENE of Shwebo, Myanmar at 0930 GMT on Friday, according to the US Geological Survey, reported Xinhua.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 22.69 degrees north latitude and 96.02 degrees east longitude.
