PUTRAJAYA, July 23 (Bernama) -- Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Special Branch director Datuk Ahmad Ramdzan Daud has been appointed as the new president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), effective today.
In a statement today, IIM said the appointment was to replace Rahman Mohd Din, who was appointed deputy secretary-general (Policy and Monitoring) at the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, effective July 21.
Ahmad Ramdzan began his service with PDRM as a probationary inspector at the Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre in April 1987.
Prior to his appointment as Special Branch director in 2022, Ahmad Ramdzan held several key positions, including assistant director of Economic Extremist Threats (Special Branch); security liaison officer in Washington, DC, United States; and head of the Johor Special Branch.
“He also serves as the president of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates (FBINAA) Asia Pacific Chapter (7th Division Malaysia),” according to the statement.
Ahmad Ramdzan holds a Master of Science (Honours) in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, which he obtained in 2008.
All IIM staff extended their congratulations and warm welcome to Ahmad Ramdzan on his appointment, while also expressing their highest appreciation to Rahman for his dedication and contributions during his service at the institute.
