25/07/2025 07:59 PM

JOHOR BAHRU, July 25 (Bernama) – UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA) is expanding business opportunities for the Bumiputera community through its Kedai Kos Sederhana (KKS) UDA Vista initiative.

UDA President and Chief Executive Officer Johari Shukri Jamil said the affordable commercial property development, introduced under the Johor State Housing Development Corporation (PKPJ) initiative, offers 62 business units at affordable prices starting from RM200,000.

Each unit spans approximately 1,200 square feet and features a spacious, modern, and practical layout suitable for a wide range of businesses and commercial activities.

“The project is located in the strategic area of Bandar UDA Utama. It was officially launched today and applications can be submitted via the Johor eRumah system,” he said at the launch of KKS UDA Vista by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi during the Johor Property Expo 2025 (JPEX 2025) at Angsana Johor Bahru Mall here today.

Johari Shukri said the KKS UDA Vista initiative includes a low down payment scheme, and UDA will bear the legal fees for the Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) and Loan Agreement documents.

He said the initiative provides greater access and convenience for buyers to own high-value commercial property at reasonable prices.

He added that KKS UDA Vista also has the potential to become a hub for Bumiputera entrepreneurship, and to drive the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

“This effort not only strengthens the local economy, but also stimulates property sector development, particularly in Johor, which is rapidly growing,” he said.

As an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP), he said UDA continues to play a proactive role in expanding Bumiputera property ownership and offering strategic business spaces at affordable prices.

In addition to KKS UDA Vista, UDA is also offering various properties including single-storey terrace houses, townhouses, shop-offices, semi-detached homes, bungalows and serviced apartments starting from RM288,054 for the 2025–2026 period.

“The properties offered are designed specifically to meet the needs of youth, families, entrepreneurs and investors, with concepts that suit all segments of society,” Johari Shukri said.

Meanwhile, UDA Land (South) Sdn Bhd Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Ismail Dasuki said UDA is offering a special three-day sales package in conjunction with JPEX 2025, which begins today.

“I call on Johoreans to seize this opportunity and visit the UDA booth to explore these property offerings,” he said.

He added that those interested in learning more about the latest property promotions may visit the UDA Land (South) Sdn Bhd Sales Gallery at Wisma SBBU, Bandar Baru UDA, or visit www.udaproperty.com.my.
