600 Free Learning Slots Offered To Johor Bumuiputera At Kita MADANI Carnival

MUAR, July 27 (Bernama) — A total of 600 free learning slots are being offered to Johor Bumiputeras to pursue studies in the field of accounting in conjunction with the Kita MADANI Carnival held alongside the launch of the 2025 National Month and the Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign (MPBKKJG) at Dataran Tanjung Emas, here.

Assistant Administrative Officer of the Johor Talent Development Council (JTDC) Secretariat, Aniq Zafran Roslan, said the initiative is sponsored by Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera, a foundation under the Ministry of Economy, in collaboration with JTDC.

He said the free slots involve full-time and part-time learning for the Professional Certificate in Accountants (Accounting Foundation ACCA) and the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB), at Sunway Tes College, Johor Bahru.

“The duration of these courses ranges from one to three years, and they are open to individuals aged 16 and above who have a background in accounting,” he said when met by Bernama.

According to him, Yayasan Peneraju is playing a leading role in advancing human capital development in Johor by providing dedicated funding under its ‘work-up’ skills programme.

“The main objective of offering these free learning opportunities is to strengthen the professional career prospects of Johor youth in the field of accounting, equipping them with internationally recognised qualifications,” he said.

The Kita MADANI Carnival, held over two days starting yesterday, is part of the MPBKKJG 2025 programme, to be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today.
