KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Football League (MFL) launched ‘We Reject Bullying Culture’ campaign today as a proactive measure to tackle the bullying issue that has become increasingly concerning recently.

The MFL said that they are saddened and concerned about bullying incidents that have not only left physical but also deep emotional impact on victims, which has led to deaths in some cases.

“As such, the MFL has taken the initiative as a sign of joint commitment to reject and tackle the bullying culture on and off the football field.

“We urge the entire football community including players, coaches, officials and fans to support this effort together. Stop the culture of bullying from this moment on,” the league said in a social media post today.

The MFL also stressed that football should remain a platform for unity, love and mutual respect.
