Anwar Hails Malaysians’ Dedication, Commitment At National Day Celebration

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his deepest appreciation to all security personnel, volunteers, civil servants and everyone who worked hard to make the National Day 2025 celebration at Dataran Putrajaya yesterday a success.

Anwar described all those carrying out their duties with full dedication as extraordinary.

“Not forgetting, thank you to the attendees who came together to celebrate this meaningful moment as one people, one nation.

“Your presence and commitment reflect Malaysia’s true strength — a strength born of unity, mutual respect and love for our beloved homeland,” he said in a Facebook post today.

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia and Her Majesty Queen Raja Zarith Sofiah graced the 68th National Day celebration, themed ‘Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni’, yesterday.

This year’s parade and performances involved 14,062 participants, 81 contingents, 21 marching bands, seven decorated vehicles, 508 assets from the army and Royal Malaysian Air Force, as well as 116 animals in public service.
