KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Ice Hockey Federation (MIHF) in a statement today said they successfully organised a team building programme for the National Ice Hockey Team at Eco Ventures, Semenyih, as part of the team’s final preparations for the upcoming 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok this December.
The statement said the programme designed to strengthen team spirit, resilience, and focus, brought together players, coaches, and officials in a series of activities aimed at enhancing unity and motivation.
MIHF President Tengku Datuk Dr Hishammuddin Zaizi Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Al-Haj said their athletes are determined to bring home medals for Malaysia from the SEA Games.
“This team building session is not only about physical preparation, but also about building the mental and emotional resilience required to perform on the regional stage. We are proud of their dedication and confident that they will make the nation proud,” he said in a statement, today.
The national ice hockey team is currently undergoing intensive training in anticipation of the SEA Games, where ice hockey is set to be one of the most anticipated events. With the momentum gained from this programme, the team is entering the final stretch of preparations with renewed motivation and unity.
The MIHF expressed its gratitude to all partners, sponsors and supporters who continue to stand behind the national team in their pursuit of excellence.
