KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended a contribution and a food basket to colon cancer patient Muhd Nir Izat Yaakob as a gesture of solidarity.
The aid was presented by the Prime Minister’s political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, during a visit to Muhd Nir Izat’s residence at Taman Dato’ Rashid in Kuantan, Pahang.
“He appeared calm, strong, and at times smiled, reflecting his acceptance of this fate.
“By his side, I listened to the feelings and hopes of a cancer fighter,” Ahmad Farhan said in a Facebook post, which was shared by the Prime Minister.
He also prayed that Allah SWT grant healing, strength and perseverance to Muhd Nir Izat and his family.
“No one should be left to fight alone,” he added.
