KANGAR, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- The Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) is currently in the process of studying and developing the ‘Pelan Masyarakat Perlis Bertamadun’ in an effort to foster a unique and distinctive identity for the people of the state.
The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who is also MAIPs president, expressed his hope that this initiative will lead to the strengthening of Perlis' civilisation for a more glorious future.
Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra said this when launching the 2024 Warisan Nusantara Festival at Dewan 2020 here today.
Also present was the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Dr Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.
Meanwhile, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra encouraged more individuals to conduct in-depth studies and produce writings such as books and articles on the heritage found in Perlis.
He emphasised that such efforts are crucial to provide factual and high-quality reference materials for future generations.
