SEREMBAN, Dec 8 (Bernama) – Veteran actor Johan Abdullah, 75, passed away last night at Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital (HTJ) due to a blood infection.
His wife, Sarepah Meriam Aboo, 51, when contacted, said that Johan had been receiving treatment at HTJ, after experiencing breathing difficulties in the afternoon.
"He was struggling with shortness of breath, prompting our neighbours to call an ambulance to take him to hospital. Last July, he was hospitalised for 12 days at HTJ, due to intestinal inflammation," she said.
She added that the funeral will be held this morning, at the Bandar Ainsdale Muslim Cemetery.
Johan leaves behind his wife, Sarepah Meriam, and two children, Abdullah Musa, 13, and Orchid Raihani, eight.
